The Three Harmonies Behind the Practice

Tri Hita Karana is a Balinese philosophy concerned with harmony among the spiritual realm, people and nature. Brand Temple uses those three relationships as questions for its own conduct and decisions. The practice names the teaching as Balinese and does not claim it as a business invention.

What is Tri Hita Karana?

Tri Hita Karana is a Balinese philosophy of well-being through three relationships. The Bali Province cultural archive names Parahyangan, Pawongan and Palemahan as harmony with the divine, among people and with the natural world. UNESCO describes the same philosophy through the spiritual realm, the human world and nature.

Why does Brand Temple mention it?

Tiyana lives and works in Bali, and the philosophy informed TI YA RA TEMPLE before Brand Temple existed. The practice names that source directly. It does not present the teaching as a proprietary framework or reduce it to a decorative brand story.

How does it affect the work?

Brand Temple applies three practical questions to its own decisions. Is this claim true to what the founder actually holds? Does the offer serve the person receiving it? Can the work be made and renewed with care for the world around it? These questions guide conduct. They do not replace the full cultural and spiritual meaning of Tri Hita Karana.
